Who Is Eligible?
The Educator Rewards Checking Account is available to:
- Active employees of a school district
- Retired educators
Verification Requirements:
- Active employees must present a valid school district ID badge at account opening.
- Retired educators must provide a current letter, statement, or other documentation from their Teacher Retirement System showing retirement benefits.
Bonus Qualification Requirements
To earn the $314 Reward Bonus, customers must receive direct deposits totaling $1,000 or more each month for three consecutive statement cycles.
*APY=Annual Percentage Yield. If teacher leaves profession their account will be converted to a “Texana Checking Account” and they will lose the Educator Rewards Checking benefits. Bonus will be paid three statement cycles after account opening. Direct deposit (PPD) must match educator’s badge. Withdrawal of interest before the end of the month will reduce earnings.
